ASUS Prime AP202 Ryzen 7 9800X3D Gaming Desktop

This ASUS Prime AP202 desktop arrives as a complete gaming system built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with 16 cores at 4.7GHz. It includes an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory and 64GB of DDR5 system memory. A 4TB NVMe SSD provides the primary storage. The chassis houses an 850W power supply and a 360mm liquid cooler. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Ready-to-play system with liquid cooling installed

The PC ships fully assembled and tested so it is ready to use immediately after unboxing. The 360mm liquid cooler is already mounted on the CPU, removing the most complex installation step for a custom loop. Component brands may vary from the images shown. Ensure the case dimensions suit your desk or shelf space before the unit arrives, as the assembled system is not designed for user disassembly.

Check power outlet and display connections first

Verify you have a standard mains socket for the 850W power supply and a monitor with a compatible input for the Radeon RX 9070 XT PCI Express x16 graphics card. The motherboard uses an AM5 socket with four DDR5 slots, all currently populated. The system includes WiFi and RGB lighting. Buyers who need additional internal drive bays beyond the single 4TB NVMe SSD or who require a different operating system should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Ryzen 7 9800X3D at safe temperatures under load?

Enter the BIOS or use a monitoring utility in Windows 11 to watch the CPU package temperature; it should stay well below the 90 °C throttle point while gaming.

Which components are already installed in the AP202 chassis and which peripherals must I provide?

The system ships with the 16-core processor, Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB GDDR6, 64GB DDR5, 4TB NVMe SSD, 850W power supply, 360mm liquid cooler, WiFi and Windows 11 Home; you only need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

The specs list a single 64GB DDR5 kit — should I choose a different capacity for future upgrades?

All four memory slots are populated to reach 64GB, so adding more later would require replacing modules; the current capacity is already optimal for gaming and multitasking.
