ASUS Prime AP202 Ryzen 9 9950X Gaming Desktop

This new ASUS Prime AP202 desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X processor at 4.3GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It includes 128GB of DDR5 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD. A 360mm liquid cooler manages thermals while an 850W power supply drives the components. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Upgrading from older platforms or lower-tier builds

The jump is worth it when moving from a system with fewer than 16 cores or a previous-generation GPU that cannot match the RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 performance. Builders replacing an air-cooled chassis gain the 360mm liquid cooling capacity. The 4TB NVMe SSD eliminates the need for secondary mechanical drives.

Check AM5 motherboard compatibility

Verify your existing chassis fits a 360mm radiator and has mounting points for liquid cooling. Confirm the 850W power supply connectors match your current cable routing. The four DDR5 slots are fully populated at 128GB, leaving no room for memory expansion without module replacement.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need?

The AP202 chassis is built around a 360 mm radiator so the case already provides the required mounting points and airflow path.

Which power cables must be connected for the RTX 5070 Ti?

The 850 W supply includes the native 12VHPWR connector; seat it fully until the latch clicks or the GPU will not power on.

How many DDR5 slots remain free for future upgrades?

All four slots are populated to reach 128 GB so adding capacity later means replacing existing modules.
