AP202 White desktop with Core Ultra 9 285K

This ASUS Prime AP202 White system is a new gaming desktop PC built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 24 cores running at 5.7GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card carrying 32GB of GDDR7 memory and 128GB of DDR5 system memory. A 360mm liquid cooler and 1200W power supply support the high-performance hardware inside a desktop chassis that ships with Windows 11 Home installed.

Suited for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking.

The specification fits enthusiasts who want a ready-to-play machine for 4K gaming, virtual reality and demanding content creation workloads that benefit from 24 cores and 32GB of GPU memory. Buyers who need a small-form-factor chassis, a lower power draw or a system without liquid cooling should look at other form factors because this desktop uses a 360mm radiator and a 1200W power supply in a full-size tower layout.

32GB GDDR7 on the RTX 5090 drives 4K and VR headroom

The single specification that most determines whether this is the right part is the graphics card's 32GB of GDDR7 memory on the RTX 5090. That capacity enables high-resolution texture pools and large frame buffers for 4K gaming and VR titles, while the 24-core CPU and 128GB of DDR5 keep data flowing to the GPU without bottlenecking the pipeline.

Questions about this item

How is the 360mm liquid cooler installed and which step do people get wrong?

The 360mm liquid cooler ships pre-installed on the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, so no mounting is required. The step people miss is checking that the pump cable is fully seated on the motherboard header before first boot.

What maintenance or replacement will the 360mm liquid cooler need later?

The sealed 360mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its service life. If pump noise or CPU temperatures rise after several years, the entire cooler assembly would be replaced as a unit.

What limit shows up first under sustained use with the 1200W power supply?

The 1200W power supply delivers up to 1200W continuous. Under sustained loads from the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and RTX 5090, the thermal limit of the 360mm liquid cooler typically appears before the power limit.
