Ready-to-play ASUS Prime AP202 White

This new gaming desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor at 3.8GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 graphics card. It ships with 64GB DDR5 memory, a 2TB NVMe SSD, an 850W power supply and Windows 11 Home. A 360mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals inside the AP202 chassis.

Upgrade from older CPU and GPU combinations

Builders moving from a previous-generation 8-core CPU or a mid-range graphics card gain the 9000-series architecture and the RTX 5070's 12GB GDDR7 frame buffer. The jump is worthwhile when current hardware limits 1440p frame rates or when content-creation workloads need more parallel threads and faster video memory.

Sustained load behaviour with liquid cooling

The 360mm liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 7 9700X near its base frequency during extended gaming or rendering sessions. The 850W power supply delivers stable current to the RTX 5070 and all four populated DDR5 slots. VR-ready output remains consistent without the thermal throttling seen on air-cooled compact builds.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler fit in the ASUS Prime AP202 White case?

The system ships with the 360 mm liquid cooler already installed in the AP202 White chassis, so no additional clearance check is required.

How is the Ryzen 7 9700X processor installed on the AM5 socket?

The CPU comes pre-mounted with the liquid cooler attached; the only step buyers sometimes miss is connecting the pump header and RGB cable to the motherboard.

When will the 64 GB DDR5 memory need upgrading?

All four DDR5 slots are populated, so any future capacity increase means replacing the existing modules rather than adding new ones.
