White AP202 chassis with liquid cooling

The ASUS Prime AP202 White is a new pre-built gaming desktop that ships with Windows 11 Home installed. It targets buyers who want a ready-to-play system without assembling components themselves. The 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 7 9700X at stable temperatures during extended sessions. Component brands may vary across production batches.

PCI Express x16 GPU interface limits

The GeForce RTX 5070 connects through a single PCI Express x16 slot and provides 12 GB of GDDR7 video memory. That slot is the only expansion path for a graphics upgrade, so a second card cannot be added later. The 850 W power supply sets the ceiling for any future GPU change. Builders who need multi-GPU compute or a larger card must look elsewhere.

AM5 socket with single CPU support

The motherboard uses the AM5 socket and supports exactly one Ryzen 7 9000 series processor, which is the installed 8-core 9700X running at 3.8 GHz base frequency. No additional CPU can be fitted and the socket does not accept earlier Ryzen generations. Buyers who want a dual-socket workstation or an upgrade path to a higher-core-count chip cannot use this platform.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 4TB NVMe or add a SATA drive?

The 4TB NVMe is the primary and only storage listed; the board also has SATA III ports if you later want extra capacity.

What does the 3.8GHz base clock mean once the PC is built?

The Ryzen 7 9700X runs its eight cores at 3.8GHz out of the box, giving consistent speed for gaming and multitasking.

Is the RTX 5070 limited by the PCI Express x16 slot?

The graphics card uses a PCI Express x16 connection, so the 12GB GDDR7 GPU operates at full interface bandwidth.
