System identity

The ASUS Prime AP202 White is a pre-built gaming desktop centred on a 16-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor running at 4.7GHz. It pairs that CPU with a Radeon RX 9070 graphics card carrying 16GB of GDDR6 memory and 128GB of DDR5 system memory across four slots. A 2TB NVMe SSD provides the primary storage volume. The machine ships with Windows 11 Home installed and includes Wi-Fi and RGB lighting.

Build integration

The 850W power supply drives the CPU, GPU, 360mm liquid cooler and all onboard peripherals without requiring an external brick. Four memory slots are populated, so adding more RAM means replacing existing modules rather than filling empty ones. The single PCI Express x16 slot is occupied by the graphics card, leaving no room for a second discrete GPU. Additional storage would need a free SATA III port or an M.2 socket not described in the specification.

Thermals and power

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the 16-core processor under sustained gaming loads. The Radeon RX 9070 draws power through the same 850W unit, so total system consumption stays within that ceiling. Liquid cooling typically keeps fan speeds lower than air-cooled equivalents at comparable loads, reducing audible noise during extended sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 7 9800X3D at 4.7 GHz without thermal throttling during long sessions?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 16-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D at its 4.7 GHz base frequency, keeping temperatures in check for sustained workloads.

How loud is the 360 mm liquid cooler and 850 W power supply when the Radeon RX 9070 and CPU run flat-out all day?

Under full load the 360 mm liquid cooler and 850 W power supply produce a moderate hum; the large radiator lets fans spin slower, so noise stays at typical gaming-PC levels.

What must I already own to start using this ASUS Prime AP202 White desktop right away?

You only need a display with HDMI or DisplayPort input plus a keyboard and mouse; Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and Wi-Fi is built in.
