ASUS PRIME RTX 5060 Ti 16GB for AI and gaming

This graphics card targets builders who want 16 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 128-bit bus for local AI workloads and high-refresh gaming. The Blackwell GPU delivers 4608 CUDA cores and connects through a PCI Express 5.0 x8 interface. It fits into the PRIME B850M-K motherboard and Ryzen 5 9600X combo for a balanced platform.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The PRIME cooler uses a dual-fan layout with 0 dB technology that stops the fans under light load. Power arrives through a single 8-pin connector feeding the typical board power while the 6-layer PCB and Digi+ VRM keep voltage stable. The Shin-Etsu X-23-7868-2D thermal paste ensures consistent contact between die and heatsink.

Bundled motherboard CPU and paste benefits

The PRIME B850M-K adds 8+2+1 power modules and supports DDR5 up to 8400 MT/s across three M.2 slots. The Ryzen 5 9600X contributes 6 cores and 12 threads with a 5.4 GHz max boost clock and 38 MB cache. Together they enable DLSS 4.0, HDMI 2.1b and three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs for four-display setups.

Questions about this item

What power supply is required for the PRIME RTX 5060 Ti?

The card uses a single 12V-2x6 connector; a unit with that connector and enough headroom for the full system is needed.

Will the PRIME B850M-K motherboard fit in my case?

The board is a micro-ATX form factor, so it fits any case that accepts micro-ATX or larger.

Does the Ryzen 5 9600X come with a cooler in this bundle?

The bundle includes Shin-Etsu X-23-7868-2D thermal paste but no CPU cooler; a separate AM5-compatible cooler is required.
