16 GB GDDR7 graphics card with 10752 CUDA cores, PCIe 5.0 x16, HDMI 2.1b and three DisplayPort 2.1a outputs
The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5080 is a graphics card built for 4K gaming and professional content creation. It uses the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture with 10752 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 memory on a 256-bit bus. The card connects via PCI Express 5.0 x16 and fits a standard ATX form factor. It supports up to four displays through modern video outputs.
The single specification that decides compatibility is the 16GB GDDR7 frame buffer running at 30 Gbps across a 256-bit interface. This capacity and bandwidth combination determines whether the card can hold the textures, models and datasets required by a specific workload at 4K or 8K resolution. The 360W thermal design power and 850W recommended PSU wattage follow from this memory configuration.
The bundled video outputs provide one HDMI 2.1b port and three DisplayPort 2.1a connectors. These ports enable 7680 x 4320 resolution at high refresh rates with DSC and carry HDCP 2.3 for protected content. No SLI or CrossFireX bridges are included because the GPU does not support multi-GPU scaling. The 16-pin power connector is the only required cable from the power supply.

The 10752 CUDA cores give the RTX 5080 its raw parallel compute capacity for shading, ray tracing and AI workloads; real-world frame rates depend on the rest of the system and the game engine.
The card uses a PCI Express 5.0 x16 link, doubling the per-lane rate of the previous generation, so high-resolution texture streaming and compute transfers see the full interface speed.
The card measures 306 mm long and occupies 2.5 slots; verify your case clearance and motherboard spacing before purchase.
