The ASUS PRO B550M-C/CSM is a Micro-ATX board built around the AMD B550 chipset and an AM4 socket. It accepts Ryzen 5000 Series, 4000 G-Series and 3000 Series desktop processors. Four 288-pin DDR4 slots support dual-channel memory up to 128 GB. The layout includes one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 3.0 x4 slot and a legacy PCI slot.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw in Normal Use

The board draws power through standard ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors to feed the CPU and memory. VRM heatsinks cover the power phases to dissipate heat during typical workloads. Fan headers let the system adjust speeds based on temperature, keeping acoustic output low at idle and moderate under load. No liquid-cooling or specialised thermal interfaces are included.

When a processor with integrated graphics is used, one HDMI 2.1 port and two DisplayPort connectors drive displays up to 4K at 60 Hz. Realtek ALC887/897 audio handles analogue output.
