Professional OLED for 4K HDR creation

The ASUS ProArt PA32UCDM is a 31.5-inch 4K OLED monitor built for professional content creators. It delivers a 3840 x 2160 resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.10 ms response time. The QD-OLED panel reaches 1000 cd/m2 peak brightness and covers 99% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB with Delta E < 1 accuracy.

Check Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 bandwidth

Verify that your system can supply 4K at 240Hz over HDMI 2.1 or Thunderbolt 4 with 96W Power Delivery. The stand provides height, tilt and pivot adjustment so confirm desk clearance for the 178° viewing angles. Ensure your workflow supports Dolby Vision, HLG or HDR10 for full HDR benefit.

Sustained 1000-nit brightness with true blacks

The OLED panel maintains 1000 cd/m2 peak brightness without the ABL dimming common on lesser OLEDs. A 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and true 10-bit color depth stay stable during long grading sessions. Hardware calibration stores profiles in the monitor scaler IC so color remains consistent across reboots and extended workloads.

Questions about this item

What cables and accessories are included with the ASUS ProArt PA32UCDM and what must be bought separately?

The box contains the 31.5 inch OLED panel with its height-adjustable, pivot and tilt stand, plus power and video cables for Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 connections. A separate calibration probe is required if you want to verify the factory Delta E < 1 accuracy yourself.

Which specification should I prioritise when choosing between versions of this 4K 240Hz OLED monitor?

All listed versions share the same 3840 x 2160 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 0.10ms response time and 1000 cd/m2 peak brightness, so the deciding factor is the Thunderbolt 4 port with 96W power delivery for single-cable docking.

How does the 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio translate to real-world HDR grading on this display?

The OLED panel delivers true black levels that let you see shadow detail in Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10 content at the full 1000-nit peak brightness without blooming.
