Ready-to-deploy mini workstation

The ASUS NUC 15 Pro Tall barebone arrives with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor and 16GB of DDR5 5600 memory already installed. It targets developers, digital-signage operators and compact-office builders who want a pre-validated platform without assembling memory or CPU coolers. Two M.2 slots accept NVMe storage up to 8TB and 2TB respectively so the final capacity is chosen by the integrator.

Thermals and acoustics in daily loads

A tool-less 2.0 chassis exposes the advanced cooling system that maintained optimal temperatures during 24/7 torture testing validated to MIL-STD-810H. The 120W AC adapter feeds the 14-core CPU and Arc 130T graphics while fan curves stay quiet under typical productivity and multi-display workloads. Power draw scales with the configured storage and peripheral set rather than a fixed ceiling.

Four-display ceiling set by Thunderbolt 4

Dual HDMI 2.1 ports and two Thunderbolt 4 connections each support 4K at 60Hz, enabling four simultaneous screens with headless emulation. Buyers who need five or more independent displays or 8K output will hit the interface limit of this platform.

Questions about this item

How do I open the toolless 2.0 chassis to install an M.2 2280 or 2242 NVMe drive?

Lift the latch on the Tall chassis — no screwdriver needed — then insert the M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 or 2242 PCIe x4 NVMe SSD into the matching slot and secure it with the captive screw.

Will the pre-installed 16GB DDR5 5600 memory need replacement, or can I add more later?

The 16GB DDR5 5600 is soldered and not user-replaceable; no SO-DIMM slots exist, so capacity stays at 16GB for the life of the unit.

At what point does the 120W AC adapter limit sustained CPU and Arc 130T graphics performance?

Under continuous heavy load the 120W adapter caps total system power, so the Core Ultra 5 225H and Arc 130T will throttle to stay within that budget.
