A GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory on a 256-bit bus, 10752 CUDA cores, boost clocks up to 2670 MHz, PCIe 5.0 x16, and two HDMI 2.1b plus three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs
The card carries 16 GB of GDDR7 memory across a 256-bit bus running at 30 Gbps. That bandwidth feeds the 10752 CUDA cores in the Blackwell GPU. It targets 4K gaming and compute workloads that need sustained throughput.
Two firmware profiles ship on the board. Default mode runs at 2640 MHz boost while OC mode lifts that to 2670 MHz. Both clocks are specified as boost frequencies rather than base figures. The cooler and power delivery are built to hold those speeds through extended sessions.
The interface moves to PCI Express 5.0 x16, doubling the link bandwidth of the previous 4.0 standard. Display outputs include two HDMI 2.1b and three DisplayPort 2.1b connectors for four simultaneous monitors. The step is worthwhile when the platform and display chain can use the extra link speed and modern port features.

The card runs at a 2670 MHz boost clock in OC mode or 2640 MHz in default mode with 16GB GDDR7 memory at 30 Gbps. Actual noise and temperature depend on your case airflow and fan curve settings.
You need a power supply with enough wattage and the required PCIe power connectors for a 16GB GDDR7 card with 10752 CUDA cores, plus a motherboard with a PCI Express 5.0 x16 slot.
Yes, the PCI Express 5.0 x16 interface is backward compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 slots. It provides 2 x HDMI 2.1b and 3 x DisplayPort 2.1b outputs for up to four displays.
