17.3-inch G-Sync gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG GL752VW-DH74 is a 17.3-inch gaming laptop with a Full HD IPS panel that supports G-Sync and 160-degree viewing angles. It runs on an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor at 2.6 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz. Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M with 4 GB GDDR5 and Intel HD Graphics 530. The system includes 16 GB DDR4-2400 memory, a 256 GB SSD, and a 1 TB HDD.

Installation and common issues

Windows 11 Home 64-bit is pre-installed so the laptop is ready to use after the initial setup routine. Driver updates for the GTX 960M and Intel HD Graphics 530 should be applied before heavy gaming. The dual-fan copper thermal module keeps temperatures in check, but dust can accumulate in the vents over time and reduce airflow. The spill-resistant backlit keyboard and DVD-ROM drive require no extra configuration.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This machine suits gamers who want a large G-Sync display, quad-core performance, and combined SSD plus HDD storage in a single chassis. It also fits users who still need an optical drive and a full-sized keyboard with a numeric pad. Buyers seeking higher refresh rates, newer GPU architectures, or a lighter ultraportable form factor should consider other models.
