ROG GM700 desktop with Ryzen 7 9800X3D

The ROG GM700 is a new gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 16 GB of GDDR7 video memory. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 system memory in two sticks and a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The system runs Windows 11 Home and is aimed at players who want high frame rates in modern titles at 1440p or 4K resolution.

Sustained load on 8-core CPU and RTX 5070 Ti

The 8-core, 16-thread processor operates at a 4.7 GHz base clock and can boost to 5.2 GHz, providing consistent throughput during long sessions. The dedicated RTX 5070 Ti with 16 GB GDDR7 maintains stable performance in extended gameplay, supported by DLSS 4 and ray tracing capabilities. Motherboard memory slots allow expansion up to 64 GB if workloads grow beyond the factory 32 GB configuration.

Thermals, noise and power in normal use

The ATX form-factor chassis houses the CPU and GPU with standard airflow paths for typical gaming loads. Connectivity includes four DisplayPort and two HDMI outputs across two generations, plus eleven USB ports covering USB-A 2.0, USB-A 3.2 and USB-C 3.2. Wireless connectivity covers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for cable-free peripherals and network access.
