ASUS ROG GR701 Gaming Desktop

The ASUS ROG GR701 is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-core processor running at 5.7GHz. It includes 64GB of DDR5 memory, a 4TB NVMe SSD paired with a 2TB SATA III HDD, and an AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card with 8GB GDDR6. A 360mm liquid cooler and 750W power supply support the components, and Windows 11 Home is installed.

Ideal for high-refresh 1440p and 4K gaming

This system suits players who want a ready-to-go machine for demanding titles at high resolutions and creators who need 64GB of DDR5 for heavy multitasking. Buyers who want more storage bays or a second graphics card should look elsewhere, as the chassis and 750W supply are designed for the included single-GPU configuration.

Verify monitor inputs and case clearance

Check that your display has the connectors required by the Radeon RX 9060 XT, typically DisplayPort and HDMI. Ensure your desk or cabinet can accommodate a full-size tower with a 360mm radiator mounted internally. Confirm the LGA 1851 platform matches any future CPU upgrade plans, and note that all four DDR5 slots are populated.

Questions about this item

What operating system is already installed so the PC is ready to use?

The system ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed and tested, so you can start gaming without installing an OS yourself.

Can I keep using my existing SATA hard drives with the 2 TB mechanical drive already inside?

Yes, the motherboard provides additional SATA III ports, so any older SATA drives you retain will work alongside the included 2 TB HDD.

How can I verify the 360 mm liquid cooler is keeping the CPU at safe temperatures?

Open the ASUS monitoring utility or BIOS hardware monitor and confirm the CPU package temperature remains within normal operating limits under load.
