Ready-to-play AMD gaming desktop

This ASUS ROG GR701 system arrives fully assembled with Windows 11 Home installed. It targets gamers and creators who want high frame rates at 1440p without building a custom rig. The eight-core Ryzen 7 9700X and Radeon RX 7800 XT provide the compute and graphics headroom for modern titles and content workflows.

Liquid cooling keeps thermals steady

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the Ryzen 7 9700X heat output so the CPU sustains its 3.8GHz base clock under load. The 750W power supply feeds the GPU and platform without strain during extended sessions. Fan curves stay quiet at idle and ramp smoothly when the Radeon RX 7800 XT pushes 16GB of GDDR6 memory bandwidth.

Dual-drive layout simplifies storage management

The 2TB NVMe SSD holds the OS and active games for fast load times while the 2TB HDD stores media libraries and backups. Front-panel RGB lighting is configurable through ASUS software. Wired 2.5G Ethernet and integrated Wi-Fi give flexible network options. The DIMM 288-pin memory slots allow future DDR5 expansion up to the board limit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm liquid cooler in the ASUS ROG GR701 case, and what step is often missed?

The 360mm liquid cooler is pre-installed and tested; the step buyers miss is removing any shipping brackets or foam before first boot.

What maintenance or replacement will the liquid cooling system need later?

The sealed 360mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free; only dust the radiator fans periodically and replace the unit if pump noise or temperatures rise.

What limit appears first during sustained gaming with the RX 7800 XT and Ryzen 7 9700X?

The 750W power supply sets the sustained power ceiling; under heavy load the CPU and GPU will throttle to stay within that 750W budget.
