ASUS ROG GR701 Ryzen 9 9900X3D Gaming Desktop

The ASUS ROG GR701 is a liquid cooled gaming desktop built around a 12 core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor running at 4.4GHz. It includes 128GB DDR5 memory, a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 16GB GDDR7, and a 4TB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre installed on a system powered by an 850W supply.

Upgrading from older desktops or integrated graphics

This system replaces older towers that rely on previous generation CPUs or integrated graphics for modern titles. The jump is worth it when your current machine cannot sustain high frame rates at 1440p or 4K in demanding games. Buyers who need more than 4TB of fast storage or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

Installation and common issues

The PC ships tested and ready to play so no internal assembly is required. Simply connect power, display and peripherals then follow the Windows 11 setup. The 360mm liquid cooler is pre fitted and the 850W unit powers all included components. Component brands may vary from the images shown.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 360mm liquid cooler need inside the GR701 case?

The 360mm liquid cooler requires a mounting location with enough length for a 360mm radiator and space for three fans.

How is the Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor installed, and what step is often missed?

The Ryzen 9 9900X3D is pre-installed in the AM5 socket; the step often missed is removing the protective cover from the cooler cold plate before powering on.

What maintenance will the liquid cooling loop need later?

The 360mm liquid cooler is a sealed all-in-one unit that requires no refilling; only dust the radiator fins and check fan operation periodically.
