Ready-to-game desktop

The ASUS ROG GR701 ships as a complete Windows 11 system built around a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D running at 4.3GHz, an RTX 5070 with 12GB GDDR7 and 64GB of DDR5 memory. A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable under sustained load while WiFi and RGB lighting are integrated out of the box.

Upgrade path from older rigs

This configuration replaces an ageing tower that struggles with modern titles at high settings or with creative workloads that demand many threads. The jump is worth it when your current machine cannot feed a 12GB GDDR7 GPU fast enough or when 16 cores cut render times dramatically.

Storage and memory headroom

A 1TB NVMe drive holds the operating system and active projects while a 2TB SATA III HDD stores bulk media and backups. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 across four slots handles large scenes and heavy multitasking; the SSD capacity becomes the limit once active project libraries exceed one terabyte.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 360mm liquid cooler require?

The integrated 360mm liquid cooler fits inside the ASUS ROG GR701 chassis and is pre-mounted, so no extra case clearance is needed.

How is the CPU cooler installed, and what step is often missed?

The 360mm liquid cooler arrives pre-installed on the Ryzen 9 9950X3D; the only step required is connecting the pump header to the motherboard before first boot.

When will the liquid cooler need maintenance or replacement?

The sealed 360mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its service life; replacement is only needed if pump noise or coolant temperatures rise abnormally.
