Lightweight FPS Gaming Mouse

The ASUS ROG Keris weighs just 62 grams and targets competitive FPS players who value speed and pinpoint accuracy. Its streamlined shape supports diverse grip styles for comfortable handling during long sessions. A specially tuned 16000 dpi optical sensor provides responsive tracking for demanding first-person shooter games. On-the-fly DPI adjustments let you change sensitivity instantly without pausing play.

Sensor Limits and Tracking Ceiling

The optical sensor tops out at 16000 dpi and 400 inches per second with a 1000 Hz polling rate. Movements faster than 400 ips may not register accurately on any surface. The 1000 Hz report rate caps how often position data reaches the system each second. Extremely high DPI settings can amplify micro-jitter if the sensor surface is not perfectly clean.

Push-Fit Switch Installation and Common Issues

Exclusive push-fit switch sockets allow you to swap switches without soldering to vary click feel or replace worn parts. ROG Micro Switches are rated for a 70-million-click lifespan and consistent actuation force. The ROG Paracord cable and 100 percent PTFE feet reduce drag for a smoother glide. Misaligned switch pins during a swap can cause double-clicks or missed inputs until reseated properly.
