High-End CPU Cooling Solution

The ASUS ROG Ryujin 360 is an all-in-one liquid cooler built for demanding multi-core processors. It targets enthusiasts who want factory-assembled water cooling with industrial-grade components and integrated monitoring.

Upgrade Path From Air Coolers

Moving from a tower air cooler becomes worthwhile when VRM and M.2 temperatures limit sustained boost clocks. The embedded 60 mm micro-fan inside the pump housing addresses that gap by directing airflow toward the socket area, lowering those zones by up to 20 °C compared with radiator-only designs.

Build Integration Requirements

The 394 mm radiator occupies three 120 mm fan slots, so the chassis must support a 360 mm mount. Three Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 2000 PWM fans are pre-installed and connect via standard 4-pin headers for FanXpert or motherboard control. The copper cold plate includes brackets for Intel LGA 2066, 2011-3, 2011, 1366 and 115x plus AMD AM4; a TR4 bracket is not included. Sleeved rubber tubes and pre-applied thermal compound simplify the installation.

Questions about this item

Does the 394 mm radiator need a specific case clearance?

The radiator measures 394 by 121 by 27 mm and fits three 120 mm fan slots; verify your case supports a 360 mm radiator with 27 mm thickness plus 25 mm fan depth.

How do the three 4-pin Noctua iPPC fans connect, and what step is often missed?

Each 120 mm fan plugs into a 4-pin PWM header; the common mistake is forgetting to set the header to PWM mode in BIOS so the 450-2000 RPM range works correctly.

Is the thermal compound on the copper block enough for a future reinstall, or must I buy more?

Compound is pre-applied for the first mount; if you remount the block later, clean the old paste and apply a fresh pea-sized amount for proper coverage.
