Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 240Hz panel is running at its native 2560 x 1600 resolution after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and verify the resolution shows 2560 x 1600 with the refresh rate set to 240Hz; the ROG Armoury Crate overlay can also display the active refresh rate in real time.

What ships in the box and what must I purchase separately for this ROG Strix G16?

The box contains the laptop, a power adapter, and documentation; the 32GB DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe SSD are already installed, so no separate RAM or storage purchase is required.

Which configuration should I choose if I need the 2.5K 240Hz display with the RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7 graphics?

This exact model pairs the 16" 2.5K 240Hz IPS-level panel with the GeForce RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7, 32GB DDR5, and 2TB PCIe SSD — select this SKU for that specification.
