16-inch 165 Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop finished in Eclipse Gray. It runs Windows 11 Home on an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor paired with 16 GB of DDR5 memory. A 1 TB PCIe SSD provides the primary storage. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card carries 12 GB of GDDR7 video memory. The IPS panel delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution at 165 Hz.

Competitive gamers and creators; casual users

This configuration suits competitive gamers who need high frame rates on a fast 165 Hz display and creators who rely on the Ryzen 9 8940HX for multi-threaded workloads. The 12 GB GDDR7 GPU supports modern titles and GPU-accelerated applications. Users who mainly browse the web, stream video or work in office applications will not use the dedicated graphics power and should consider a lighter system with integrated graphics.

RTX 5070 Ti 12 GB GDDR7 graphics

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU with 12 GB of GDDR7 memory. It determines the available graphics performance for gaming at 1080p and for GPU-accelerated creative tasks. If the workload does not require a dedicated laptop GPU of this class, a system with integrated graphics will be more appropriate.
