ROG Strix G16 16-inch WUXGA 165Hz Gaming Laptop

This 16-inch laptop runs Windows 11 Home on an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs the CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card carrying 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. The 16 GB DDR5 5600 MHz dual-channel RAM and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD complete a specification aimed at gamers and creators who need strong single-thread speed and fast asset loading.

Before ordering check your power

The system ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed and the latest stable BIOS and drivers applied by the builder. Verify that your existing USB-C, USB-A, HDMI and audio devices match the ports available on this chassis. Confirm that the 165 Hz IPS-level display at 1920 x 1200 resolution suits your external monitor arrangement and colour-accuracy requirements.

Eclipse Gray chassis with upgraded thermal

The builder applies Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on the CPU and Gelid GC Extreme on the GPU to lower operating temperatures under sustained load. The aluminium-reinforced lid and magnesium-alloy base keep flex minimal during transport. Connectors are positioned along the rear and left edge so cables route cleanly away from the mouse hand during desktop use.
