16-inch 2.5K 240Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory. It targets gamers and creators who need high refresh-rate visuals and strong multi-threaded performance in a portable chassis. The 2560 x 1600 IPS-level panel covers 100% DCI-P3 with a 3ms response time.

Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 display outputs

External monitors connect through a single Thunderbolt 4 port and an HDMI 2.1 port, limiting simultaneous high-resolution, high-refresh displays to two streams. The USB-C 3.2 port and three USB-A 3.2 ports handle peripherals, while the RJ45 LAN port provides wired networking. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 manage wireless links.

16GB soldered DDR5 and 1TB PCIe SSD

The system ships with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD; verify whether the memory slots are accessible for future upgrades before ordering. Confirm that your existing peripherals use USB-A, USB-C or Thunderbolt 4 interfaces to match the available ports. Ensure your external displays support HDMI 2.1 or Thunderbolt 4 signalling for full resolution and refresh rates.
