ASUS ROG Strix G16 gaming laptop

This ASUS ROG Strix G16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU carrying 8GB of GDDR7 memory. The system includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro and an Office 2024 licence ship pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The 165Hz FHD+ display and 16-core processor suit gamers and creators who want high frame rates and strong multi-thread performance in a portable chassis. Wi-Fi 7 and a full port selection including HDMI and RJ-45 support desk setups and LAN events. Buyers needing a touchscreen, an SD card reader, or a lighter ultrabook form factor should consider other models.

RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. This GPU tier targets 1080p and 1200p gaming at high refresh rates and handles modern creative workloads. If your workflow demands more VRAM or a higher GPU tier for 1440p or 4K output, this configuration will not meet that requirement.
