16-core i7-14650HX laptop for gaming

This ASUS ROG Strix G16 pairs a 16-core Intel Core i7-14650HX processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU and 32GB of DDR5 memory. The 16.0-inch FHD+ panel runs at 165Hz for smooth motion in competitive titles. A 2TB PCIe SSD provides capacity for a large game library.

Suits high-refresh esports play; not for 4K

The 1920 x 1200 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate favour fast-paced shooters and MOBA games where frame rate matters more than pixel density. Creative professionals who need a wider colour gamut or higher resolution for colour-critical work should look at something else.

RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR7 decides fit

The graphics card uses 8GB of GDDR7 video memory, which sets the practical ceiling for texture quality and ray-tracing workloads at this price point. If your favourite titles demand more VRAM for ultra settings, this configuration will not meet that requirement.
