16" 2.5K 240Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 pairs a 16.0 inch 2560 x 1600 IPS-level panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. An Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX 24-core processor runs at 2.7 GHz base and up to 5.4 GHz turbo. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics with 8GB GDDR7 drive the display for competitive play and creative work.

Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.2 connectivity

One Thunderbolt 4 port, one USB-C 3.2 port, three USB-A 3.2 ports, HDMI 2.1 and an RJ45 LAN jack cover external displays, storage and wired networking. The chassis measures 13.94 x 10.55 x .9 inches and weighs 5.84 pounds, so desk space and bag capacity should be checked before purchase. Factory seal is opened by engineers for inspection and any configured upgrades.

Sustained load on 24-core CPU and RTX 5070

The 24-thread processor and 8GB GDDR7 GPU share a compact thermal envelope; extended gaming or rendering sessions will raise surface temperatures and fan speed. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 maintain wireless throughput while the system is under pressure. A 1TB PCIe SSD and 16GB DDR5 keep data feed rates high during long workloads.
