Built for high-refresh gaming and heavy multitasking

The ROG Strix G16 pairs a 14th Gen i9-14900HX with an RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6 GPU, 16GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. A 16.0 inch QXGA panel runs at 240 Hz with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 handle connectivity.

Upgrading from a mid-range mobile CPU

The 24-core 32-thread processor reaches 5.8 GHz turbo, while the 240 Hz screen cuts motion blur in fast titles. Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 add high-speed external display options. The jump makes sense when you need both compile speed and competitive frame rates in one chassis.

Sustained load on a 1.2 inch thick chassis

Dual graphics routing lets the iGPU handle background work while the RTX 4060 targets the game. The 13.94 by 10.39 inch footprint and 5.5 pound weight concentrate heat, so fan curves ramp under long sessions. Per-key RGB backlighting and a 720p webcam stay active throughout.
