ASUS ROG Strix G16 Gaming Laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor with 16 cores and 32 threads. It ships with 96 GB of DDR5 memory and a 4 TB SSD for fast storage access. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU brings dedicated graphics power for rendering and gameplay.

Suits high-refresh gaming and heavy multitasking

The 165 Hz WUXGA panel with 100 percent sRGB coverage serves competitive players and creators who need smooth motion and accurate colour. Buyers who want a higher resolution panel, a larger screen diagonal or a different GPU tier must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 165 Hz panel is active after setup?

Open Windows display settings and confirm the refresh rate is set to 165 Hz. The 16-inch WUXGA IPS-level anti-glare screen with 300 nits brightness and 1000:1 contrast should show smooth motion in games or the TestUFO motion test.

What accessories are included and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the laptop, power adapter, a Traix mousepad and documentation. The 96 GB DDR5 memory and 4 TB PCIe SSD are already installed. No extra storage or RAM is required unless you want capacity beyond the factory configuration.

Which configuration should I choose for heavy rendering and multitasking?

This single SKU ships with the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX 16-core processor, 96 GB DDR5 RAM, 4 TB SSD and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics with 8 GB GDDR7. It is the top-tier option for demanding creative workloads.
