18-inch 240 Hz WQXGA gaming laptop

This 18-inch laptop pairs a 240 Hz WQXGA panel with a Ryzen 9 8940HX and an RTX 5070 GPU. The 16-core processor reaches 5.3 GHz while the graphics card uses 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 SO-DIMM memory and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD complete the core specification. Windows 11 Home ships pre-installed.

Who should consider this and who should not

The 240 Hz refresh rate and 2560x1600 resolution suit competitive gamers and creators who need fast motion clarity. Buyers wanting a touchscreen, a smaller chassis or a higher memory capacity out of the box should look elsewhere. The 90 Whr battery and 280 W power supply support extended sessions but the 6 lb weight limits frequent travel.

Deciding specification: 240 Hz 18-inch display

The 18-inch 240 Hz WQXGA screen is the single figure that determines fit. If your workflow or games benefit from high refresh at this diagonal and aspect ratio, the laptop matches the requirement. If you need a different panel size, refresh rate or touch input, this model will not suit.
