18-inch WQXGA 240Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G18 is an 18-inch gaming laptop built around a 24-core Intel Ultra 9 275HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory. It targets enthusiasts who want high frame rates on a large 2560 x 1600 panel. Windows 11 Home ships pre-installed.

Installation notes for upgraded components

The supplier opens the original seal for professional upgrades and testing before shipment. RAM and storage upgrades carry a separate one-year warranty from the upgrade provider while the remaining components retain the standard one-year manufacturer warranty. Factory defects are reduced through in-depth inspection.

8GB GDDR7 video memory decides fit

The GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU provides 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. That capacity determines whether the system can hold the textures and frame buffers required by the target titles at 2560 x 1600 resolution. Buyers should match this figure to their workload before purchase.
