Questions about this item

Which configuration is offered for the ROG Strix G18?

The laptop ships with an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX 16-core processor, 32GB DDR5 memory, a 1TB PCIe SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU with 8GB GDDR7 video memory.

What does the 144Hz figure mean for daily use?

The 18-inch FHD+ panel refreshes at 144Hz, so fast motion in games and video stays smooth without visible tearing when the GPU can match that rate.

What does the USB 4.0 Type-C port support in practice?

Both USB 4.0 Type-C ports carry DisplayPort and G-SYNC signals; one also delivers power, so you can drive an external monitor and charge through the same connector.
