16-inch 165 Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G614PR is a 16.0-inch gaming laptop with a 165 Hz IPS WUXGA display. It targets players and creators who want high frame rates and colour-accurate visuals in a portable chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and a per-key RGB keyboard.

64 GB DDR5 and 1 TB PCIe SSD

Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 SO-DIMM memory gives ample headroom for modern titles, streaming and heavy multitasking. The 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD provides fast load times and space for a large game library. Storage and memory are not user-expandable beyond the factory configuration.

GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 12 GB GDDR7

The dedicated GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 12 GB of GDDR7 memory is the single spec that defines 1440p gaming capability and VR readiness. It pairs with the Ryzen 9 8940HX 16-core processor to deliver high frame rates in demanding titles. Buyers needing higher VRAM or a different GPU tier should look elsewhere.

The HDMI port can drive an external display, and the built-in panel runs at 165 Hz.

Will the 64 GB of DDR5 memory be recognised as a single module or dual channel?

The memory uses SO-DIMM slots; with 64 GB installed it will operate in dual-channel mode.
