18-inch 240 Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G815LP-IS96 is an 18-inch Windows 11 gaming laptop built around a 15th Gen Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and a 5.4 GHz turbo frequency. It pairs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with 8 GB of GDDR7 memory with 32 GB of DDR5 SO-DIMM system memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 2560 x 1600 IPS panel runs at 240 Hz for smooth motion in competitive titles.

Suited for high-refresh esports and VR.

This machine targets players who want desktop-class frame rates on a large 18.0-inch screen and creators who need 32 GB of fast memory for rendering or streaming. The 90 Whr battery and 280 W power supply support extended sessions, while Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 handle modern peripherals. Buyers who prioritise sub-2 kg weight or all-day unplugged runtime should look at thinner ultraportables instead.

240 Hz WQXGA panel decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 18-inch 2560 x 1600 display running at 240 Hz. If your workflow or favourite games benefit from that resolution and refresh combination, the laptop matches the requirement; if you need a smaller form factor or a different aspect ratio, the screen size makes this the wrong choice.
