18-inch 240 Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G815LP-IS96 is an 18-inch gaming laptop built around a 2560x1600 IPS panel running at 240 Hz. It pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 8 GB GDDR7 GPU. The system ships with 64 GB DDR5 SO-DIMM memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Upgrade from 60 Hz panels and last-gen mobile GPUs

Moving from a 60 Hz display to this 240 Hz panel cuts frame time dramatically for competitive shooters and fast-paced action titles. The RTX 5070 replaces older mobile GPUs with 8 GB GDDR7 memory and the latest architecture. The jump is worth it when you need both high refresh rates and modern GPU features in a single chassis.

Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 7 set the I/O ceiling

Thunderbolt 4 provides up to 40 Gbps bandwidth for external GPUs, high-speed storage or dual 4K displays. WiFi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4 handle wireless throughput and peripheral latency. The 280 W power adapter and 90 Wh battery define the practical limits for sustained loads away from a wall outlet.
