ASUS ROG Strix G815LP-IS96 gaming laptop 18" 240Hz Ultra 9 275HX RTX 5070 64GB 4TB w/Duex Max

18-inch 240 Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G815LP-IS96 pairs an 18.0-inch IPS WQXGA panel at 240 Hz with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 8 GB GDDR7 GPU. It ships with 64 GB DDR5 SO-DIMM memory, a 4 TB PCIe NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Pro and a bundled 14-inch Mobile Pixels Duex Max secondary display. The chassis measures 11.75 by 17.25 by 1.4 inches in gray.

Suits high-refresh competitive play

The 240 Hz refresh rate and 2560 x 1600 resolution benefit fast-paced shooters and content creators who need extra screen real-estate via the included Duex Max monitor. Thunderbolt 4, HDMI and USB 3.2 Type-C handle peripherals and external displays. Buyers who need a lighter chassis, longer unplugged runtime or a smaller footprint should evaluate other models.

240 Hz 18-inch panel is the deciding spec

If a 240 Hz 18.0-inch WQXGA display matches the target workload, the supporting hardware — 24-core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5070 8 GB GDDR7, 64 GB DDR5 and 4 TB NVMe — is built around that screen. If the refresh rate or screen diagonal is excessive for the intended use, a different configuration will be more appropriate.
