Built for high-frame-rate gaming

The ASUS ROG Strix GA15DK-DS776 is a tower desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core 16-thread processor running at 3.80 GHz with 32 MB L3 cache. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory in a two-module configuration leaving two slots open. A 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD provides the boot drive and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 with 8 GB GDDR6 handles graphics. Windows 11 Home 64-bit is pre-installed and the system is marked Virtual Reality Ready.

Fits a standard ATX tower build

The chassis uses an AMD B550 chipset motherboard with four total DDR4 slots so the existing 16 GB can be expanded to 64 GB using the two free slots. A 700 W 80+ Bronze power supply with a 750 W peak rating delivers power to the CPU and RTX 3070 without needing an external brick. High Definition 7.1 Channel Audio is integrated on the board. No optical drive or secondary hard drive is included so the single M.2 slot remains the only factory storage location.

Sustained load on CPU and GPU

The 700 W Bronze unit is rated to peak at 750 W giving headroom for the 5800X and RTX 3070 to maintain boost clocks during extended sessions. The tower form factor allows standard airflow paths for the stock cooler and graphics card cooler to dissipate heat continuously. With 16 GB of system memory and 8 GB of video memory the platform can hold large game textures and background applications without paging to the SSD during long plays.

Questions about this item

At what temperature does the Ryzen 7 5800X throttle under sustained load?

The processor base frequency is 3.80 GHz with 32 MB L3 cache; thermal throttling behaviour depends on the chassis airflow and the 700 W 80+ Bronze power supply cooling capacity.

How loud is the system when the RTX 3070 and CPU run all day?

The 700 W 80+ Bronze unit peaks at 750 W; fan noise scales with total draw from the 8-core CPU and 8 GB GDDR6 GPU under continuous load.

Which display cable must I already own for the GeForce RTX 3070?

The graphics card provides standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs; choose a cable that matches your monitor's input.
