Triple-fan graphics card with 24 GB GDDR6X memory, 2640 MHz boost clock, and 450 W power draw for 4K gaming and heavy compute workloads
The ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC 24GB is a high-end graphics card built for 4K gaming and professional rendering. It uses the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture with 24GB of GDDR6X memory on a 384-bit interface. The card connects via PCI Express 4.0 and provides two HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs for up to four displays.
A 3.5-slot cooler with a patented vapor chamber and milled heatspreader handles the 450W thermal design power. Three scaled Axial-tech fans deliver 23% more airflow across a massive fin array. Digital power control with high-current power stages and 15K capacitors maintains stable voltage during extended sessions.
PCI Express 4.0 provides sufficient bandwidth for the RTX 4090 without saturating the link. HDMI 2.1 supports 4K at high refresh rates and 7680 x 4320 resolution. DisplayPort 1.4a drives high-refresh 4K panels and multi-monitor setups within its transmission limits.

The card has a 450W thermal design power. Its 3.5-slot cooler uses a patented vapor chamber with milled heatspreader and three Axial-tech fans scaled for 23% more airflow to move that heat out of the case.
The 450W TDP requires a high-wattage PSU with native 12VHPWR or multiple 8-pin PCIe connectors; digital power control uses high-current power stages and 15K capacitors for stable delivery.
The 3.5-slot thickness occupies three to four expansion slots; verify case clearance and motherboard slot spacing. The card runs on PCI Express 4.0 and offers 2 x HDMI 2.1 plus 3 x DisplayPort 1.4a for current displays.
