ROG Strix Helios GX601 desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 is a pre-built gaming desktop PC. It runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor with 20 cores reaching 5.4GHz. The system includes 64GB of DDR5 memory and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card with 16GB GDDR6. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and features a 360mm liquid cooler for the CPU.

Storage and expansion layout

A 4TB NVMe solid-state drive provides the primary boot and application volume. A secondary 2TB hard drive connects via SATA III for bulk storage. The motherboard offers four DDR5 slots, all currently populated, so adding memory would require replacing existing modules. The graphics card occupies a PCI Express x16 slot and the build includes WiFi connectivity.

Sustained thermal and power behaviour

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to manage CPU heat during extended sessions. The 750W power supply delivers power to the 20-core processor and the Radeon RX 9070 under continuous load. Liquid cooling helps maintain lower temperatures than air cooling when the system runs at high utilisation for long periods. Components brands may vary across production batches.
