High-performance gaming desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 is built for players who want a complete, liquid-cooled system ready for modern titles. It pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card and 64GB of DDR5 memory. The 20-core CPU runs at a 5.4GHz base frequency for responsive gameplay and multitasking. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed.

Thermals noise and power

A 360mm liquid cooler manages heat from the 20-core processor during typical gaming sessions. The 750W power supply delivers energy to the CPU, the Radeon RX 9070 with 16GB GDDR6 memory, and the dual-storage configuration. Components are housed in the GX601 chassis with WiFi and RGB lighting included. The system ships tested and ready to play.

Sustained load behaviour

Under extended workloads the liquid cooler maintains stable temperatures for the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF without thermal throttling. The Radeon RX 9070 sustains frame rates in demanding scenes thanks to its 16GB GDDR6 buffer. Fast game loads come from the 2TB NVMe SSD while the 2TB SATA III HDD provides bulk storage. Memory operates at DDR5 speeds across all four populated slots.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm liquid cooler in the GX601 case without kinking the tubes?

Mount the 360mm radiator at the top or front so the pump sits below the highest point of the loop; route the tubes with gentle curves and avoid sharp bends near the CPU block.

When will the all-in-one liquid cooler need service or replacement?

The sealed 360mm AIO is maintenance-free; plan to replace the unit after about five years or if pump noise and coolant temperatures rise noticeably.

What thermal limit appears first during extended gaming on the Core Ultra 7 265KF?

Sustained loads push the 20-core CPU to its 5.4GHz boost ceiling; the 360mm liquid cooler then becomes the limiting factor for further performance.
