ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a new gaming desktop PC built around an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor with 20 cores running at 5.4GHz. It includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card with 32GB GDDR7 memory, 64GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III HDD, and a 1200W power supply. A 360mm liquid cooler manages CPU thermals and the system ships with Windows 11 Home installed.

Suits 4K enthusiasts and creators needing maximum

Buyers who want a ready-to-play machine for 4K gaming, VR, or heavy creative workloads will benefit from the RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 and 64GB DDR5 configuration. The 20-core CPU and dual-storage layout handle multitasking and large asset libraries. Users who only game at 1080p or 1440p, or who prefer to build their own loop, should look at something else.

Check your desk space

Verify that your workstation can accommodate a full-size tower chassis and that your display provides the necessary HDMI or DisplayPort connections for the RTX 5090. Ensure your mains circuit can support a 1200W power supply draw under load. Confirm the LGA 1851 socket and DDR5 memory standard match any future upgrade plans you may have.

Questions about this item

Does the 1200W power supply have the 12VHPWR connector the RTX 5090 requires?

The RTX 5090 draws power through the 12VHPWR connector and the 1200W supply is built to deliver it.

Will my existing SATA III 2TB HDD install alongside the factory 2TB NVMe SSD and 2TB HDD?

The chassis has free SATA III ports and drive bays so an extra SATA III HDD fits without removing the installed drives.

How can I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Core Ultra 7 265KF at its 5.4GHz boost under load?

Watch the CPU temperature in ASUS Armoury Crate or HWMonitor while gaming; sustained temps below 90 °C mean the cooler is working as intended.
