Ready-to-play gaming desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a pre-built gaming desktop PC powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 24 cores at 5.7GHz and a Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It includes 32GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III HDD, a 1000W power supply and Windows 11 Home. A 360mm liquid cooler manages thermals. The system ships tested and ready for immediate use.

Verify power and space requirements

Before ordering, confirm your mains outlet can support a 1000W power supply and that your desk or floor area accommodates a full-tower chassis with a 360mm liquid cooling radiator. Check that your monitor provides a PCI Express x16 compatible input for the RTX 5080. Ensure you have a network connection for WiFi or wired setup and that any peripherals use standard interfaces supported by the motherboard rear I/O.

Ideal for high-refresh 4K gaming

This configuration suits players targeting high frame rates at 4K resolution and creators needing GPU acceleration with 16GB GDDR7 VRAM. The 32GB DDR5 across four slots allows future memory expansion. Buyers who want more storage bays than the single NVMe and single 2TB HDD provide, or who need a smaller form factor for limited desk space, should look at a different chassis design.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 box and what must I purchase separately?

The system ships fully assembled with the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, 32GB DDR5 memory, 2TB NVMe SSD, 2TB SATA HDD, Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7, 360mm liquid cooler, 1000W power supply, Windows 11 Home, WiFi and RGB lighting. A monitor, keyboard and mouse are not included.

Should I choose a different memory capacity or storage configuration for this model?

This specific GX601 configuration is fixed at 32GB DDR5 across four slots, a 2TB NVMe solid-state drive and a 2TB SATA III hard drive. No alternative capacities or drive layouts are offered for this product number.

What does the 5.7GHz figure on the Core Ultra 9 285K mean once the PC is running games?

The 5.7GHz is the processor's base frequency. In real workloads the 24-core chip will sustain high clocks across all cores thanks to the 360mm liquid cooler, delivering consistent frame rates in CPU-bound titles without thermal throttling.
