System overview

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a new gaming desktop PC built around an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor with 20 cores running at 5.4GHz. It pairs that CPU with a Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card carrying 16GB of GDDR7 memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and is liquid cooled using a 360mm radiator. It targets players who want a ready-to-play machine for high-resolution gaming and content creation.

Build integration

The chassis houses a 1000W power supply to feed the CPU and GPU without extra cables. Storage combines a 2TB NVMe SSD for fast boot and load times with a 2TB SATA III HDD for bulk capacity. Four DDR5 slots are fitted and all are currently populated with 32GB total, so adding more memory would require replacing modules. The motherboard uses an LGA 1851 socket and provides a PCI Express x16 slot occupied by the graphics card. WiFi and RGB lighting are integrated.

Buyer fit

This desktop suits buyers who need a complete, liquid-cooled system with a 20-core processor and an RTX 5080 for 4K gaming or GPU-heavy workloads. It is not for builders who want to choose their own components or who need more than four memory slots for expansion. Buyers seeking a smaller form factor or a lower power draw should look elsewhere. The fixed 1000W supply and 360mm cooler also limit case-swap flexibility.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF at its 5.4 GHz boost during long sessions?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is sized to dissipate the heat from the 20-core CPU at its 5.4 GHz peak, so sustained clock speeds are maintained under typical gaming loads.

How loud is the 360 mm liquid cooler and the 1000 W power supply when the RTX 5080 is fully loaded all day?

The 360 mm radiator uses low-RPM fans and the 1000 W unit runs in a quiet fan curve, so system noise stays at a low hum even during extended RTX 5080 workloads.

Does the motherboard have four DDR5 slots free so I can add more memory later?

The board provides four DDR5 slots in total and all are populated with the included 32 GB kit, so adding memory means replacing modules rather than filling empty slots.
