ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a liquid cooled gaming desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 64GB of DDR5 memory and a combined 4TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB SATA HDD. A 360mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply complete the system.

Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24 Core 5.7GHz Processor

The single specification that decides fit is the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU with 24 cores running at a 5.7GHz base frequency on the LGA 1851 socket. This processor defines the platform and the performance ceiling for gaming and heavy multitasking workloads.

Suits high end gamers and content creators

This desktop suits buyers who want a ready to play system with high core counts, fast NVMe storage and a modern RTX GPU for 1440p or 4K gaming. It is not for builders who need a barebones chassis to install their own parts or buyers who want more storage bays than the single NVMe and single 2TB HDD provided.

Questions about this item

How does the 5.7GHz boost clock on the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K behave under sustained gaming loads?

The 24-core processor runs at 5.7GHz base frequency with a 360mm liquid cooler fitted, so thermal headroom stays high during extended sessions and the CPU keeps its rated speed without throttling.

What bandwidth ceiling does the PCI Express x16 slot impose on the GeForce RTX 5070?

The graphics card connects through a PCI Express x16 interface, giving the RTX 5070 full lane width for its 12GB GDDR7 memory subsystem and avoiding any bus bottleneck.

Will the 360mm liquid cooler fit inside the GX601 chassis without blocking the 4TB NVMe drive or the 850W power supply?

The system ships pre-assembled and tested; the 360mm radiator is mounted in the factory layout so it clears the NVMe SSD, the 2TB SATA HDD and the 850W PSU without interference.
