White Helios chassis with liquid cooling

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a new gaming desktop built around a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K running at 5.7GHz. It pairs that processor with a Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card holding 16GB of GDDR7 memory. The system includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 4TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III HDD. A 1000W power supply and Windows 11 Home complete the package for enthusiasts who want a ready-to-play rig.

360mm liquid loop keeps clocks stable

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the thermal output of the 24-core CPU during extended sessions. This allows the processor to sustain high frequencies without the throttling seen on air-cooled builds. The GPU also benefits from consistent case airflow provided by the same loop. Components brands may vary but the cooling capacity is fixed by the 360mm radiator size.

Single GPU slot limits multi-card scaling

The motherboard provides one PCI Express x16 slot wired for the installed RTX 5080. Builders who need a second graphics card for compute or rendering cannot add it internally. The four DDR5 slots are all populated, so memory expansion requires replacing modules. Storage can still grow through additional NVMe or SATA drives.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Core Ultra 9 285K at 5.7 GHz during all-day sessions?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is sized to handle the 24-core Core Ultra 9 285K at its 5.7 GHz base frequency, moving heat away from the CPU so temperatures and fan noise stay controlled even during extended gaming or rendering workloads.

What display connectors must my monitor provide for the Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7 card?

The RTX 5080 uses a PCI Express x16 slot internally and outputs modern digital video signals; ensure your monitor has DisplayPort or HDMI inputs that match the card’s rear bracket.

Will my existing SATA III hard drives or 2.5-inch SSDs work alongside the 4 TB NVMe boot drive and 2 TB HDD already installed?

Yes — the motherboard includes SATA III ports, so any SATA III hard drive or 2.5-inch SATA SSD you already own can be added alongside the factory 4 TB NVMe SSD and 2 TB HDD.
