15.6" 144 Hz Gaming Notebook

The ASUS ROG Strix Hero III G531GW-XB74 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around a 144 Hz IPS display. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-9750H processor with six cores and a 4.50 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with 8 GB GDDR6 provides dedicated graphics performance.

Who This Suits

This notebook suits players who want a high-refresh 15.6 inch screen and RTX 2070 graphics in a 5.67 lb chassis. The 144 Hz panel and per-key RGB keyboard support competitive play. Buyers needing a lighter ultraportable, longer unplugged runtime, or a newer GPU architecture should look at other models.

RTX 2070 8 GB GDDR6 Graphics

The GeForce RTX 2070 with 8 GB GDDR6 is the specification that defines this laptop's gaming tier. It drives the 1920 x 1080 144 Hz display at high frame rates in modern titles. If your workload demands more video memory or a newer GPU generation, this configuration will not meet that requirement.
