Wired 12000 DPI Gaming Mouse

The ASUS ROG Strix Impact III is a wired optical mouse built for competitive play. Its 12000 dpi sensor delivers 1 % deviation, 300 ips tracking and a 1000 Hz polling rate. Weighing 59 grams, it supports palm, claw and fingertip grips. Five programmable buttons plus a DPI button and replaceable switches complete the package.

Who It Suits And Who It Does Not

Players who want a lightweight wired mouse with swappable switches and on-the-fly DPI adjustment will benefit. The symmetric shape works for right or left-handed use. Buyers who need wireless freedom, more than six buttons, or a dedicated pinky rest should look elsewhere.

12000 DPI Optical Sensor

The 12000 dpi optical sensor with 1 % deviation and 300 ips maximum speed is the spec that decides fit. It pairs with a 1000 Hz USB 2.0 polling rate for consistent tracking. If your games demand higher resolution or wireless latency figures, this sensor will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Should I pick this mouse for palm, claw or fingertip grip?

The ergonomic semi-ambidextrous shape supports all three grip styles and weighs 59 grams for low fatigue.

What does the 12000 dpi sensor deliver in actual play?

It tracks at up to 300 inches per second with 1 percent deviation and a 1000 Hz polling rate for responsive cursor movement.

How does the USB 2.0 connection limit performance?

USB 2.0 provides sufficient bandwidth for the 1000 Hz polling rate, so the sensor and switches operate at full speed without bottleneck.
