Target audience

The ASUS ROG Strix RO JI x Hatsune Miku Edition is a 27-inch gaming monitor built for competitive players who value high refresh rates and distinctive aesthetics. Its 2560x1440 Fast IPS panel delivers 95% DCI-P3 colour coverage and a 0.3ms minimum response time. The design integrates Hatsune Miku branding and a Pink Eye of Faith RGB element across the chassis. Buyers who need built-in speakers or a larger screen area should look elsewhere.

Installation and common issues

Setting up the monitor is straightforward with the included USB Type-C port supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode for a single-cable connection to compatible laptops. The DisplayWidget Center software provides OSD control for GameVisual modes, gamma presets from 1.8 to 2.6, and six-axis colour adjustment. Users should note that ELMB Sync cannot operate simultaneously with variable refresh rate on some configurations, and HDR peak brightness is limited to 400 cd/m².

Interface limits

The panel natively runs at 144Hz and can be overclocked to 260Hz for smoother motion handling in fast-paced titles. Adaptive-Sync and G-Sync Compatible support work within that range to reduce tearing without adding significant input lag. The typical contrast ratio sits at 1000:1, so dark-room performance is modest compared to higher-contrast panel types. The 16:9 aspect ratio and 178-degree viewing angles suit standard desktop setups.
