18-inch 2.5K 240Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 18 is an 18-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and a 5.4 GHz turbo frequency. It pairs 32GB of DDR5 memory with a 4TB PCIe SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU carrying 12GB of GDDR7 video memory. The 2560 x 1600 display refreshes at 240Hz and runs Windows 11 Pro.

Factory opened for upgrade and test

The manufacturer seal is opened by engineers to install the specified memory and storage, then the system is tested before dispatch. This reduces the chance of factory defects but means the original packaging will not be sealed. The laptop ships with a per-key RGB keyboard, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, two Thunderbolt 5 ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and an RJ-45 jack.

For high-refresh competitive play

The 240Hz QHD+ panel, 24-core CPU and 12GB GDDR7 GPU suit competitive gamers and creators who need fast frame rates and large memory capacity. Buyers who prefer a smaller chassis, longer unplugged runtime or a lower-cost configuration should consider other models.

Questions about this item

Will the 18 inch 240Hz display fit my desk space and travel bag?

The chassis measures 15.71 x 11.73 x 0.93 inches and weighs 6.28 pounds, so check your bag depth and desk clearance against those figures.

Can I plug in two external 4K monitors and a wired mouse without a dock?
