ASUS ROG Strix Scar 18 Gaming Laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 18 is an 18-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU. It targets players and creators who need high refresh-rate visuals and multi-core throughput in a single portable chassis. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2021 license ship pre-installed.

240 Hz 2.5K Display and RTX 5070 Ti 12 GB GDDR7

The panel runs at 2560 x 1600 resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate, while the graphics card provides 12 GB of GDDR7 memory. This combination determines whether the system can sustain high frame rates at native resolution in modern titles. The 24-core CPU with 5.4 GHz turbo supports the GPU in compute-heavy scenes.

User-Upgrade Access and Thermal Constraints

The factory seal is opened by engineers for RAM or SSD upgrades before shipment, so internal slots are accessible without voiding the original warranty. The 0.93-inch profile limits cooler height, meaning sustained loads can throttle if the intake vents are obstructed. Per-key RGB lighting and Thunderbolt 5 ports add customisation without extra disassembly.
